Dr. Thuấn has extensive experience in the fields of Endocrinology and Diabetes and is currently the head of the diabetes clinic and the head of the internal medicine department at Tam Tri Da Nang Hospital. Graduating in internal medicine (2005) from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Dr. Thuấn has trained abroad for many years - completing his medical residency at Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital in France (2008) and earning a PhD in diabetes medicine at Grosshadern, LMU University, Germany (2013). He was formerly a lecturer at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Phan Chau Trinh University, actively participating in scientific research. He received the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting scholarship (2011) and was selected as one of the 500 most promising young scientists worldwide in the field of biomedical sciences.
